Multiprocessing (SMP) Cluster Computer. Designed for the rapid execution
of large computations, required by brain imaging analysis, the Neuroscience
Computer Cluster currently provides Columbia University
Researchers the fastest processing capacity of any neuroscience
department in the world. Thanks to the philanthropy
of Mr. Robert Goldberg and the Diane Goldberg
Foundation this new installation
provides neuroscience researchers
the ability to analyze data at a rate ten times faster
than before.
